Installation Guide

Step 1: Download

Once available, download UBACnet from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) using the buttons above.

Step 2: Network Setup

Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same network as your BACnet devices. UBACnet requires network access to discover and communicate with BACnet devices.

Step 3: First Launch

On first launch, UBACnet will request network access permissions. Grant these permissions to enable device discovery and communication.

Step 4: Device Discovery

Tap the discover button to start scanning for BACnet devices on your network. Discovered devices will appear in the device list.

Network Configuration

Important Network Requirements

• Your mobile device must be on the same network segment as BACnet devices
• UDP port 47808 must be accessible for BACnet/IP communication
• Broadcast traffic should be allowed for device discovery
• Some networks may require firewall configuration

Corporate Networks

Contact your IT department to ensure BACnet ports are open and broadcast traffic is allowed on your network segment.

Home Networks

Most home networks work out of the box. Ensure your BACnet devices and mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
